1-2-1 Skills Checklist
Our 80 point skills checklist has been developed and improved over the last four years. As you work through it you will be exposed to all sorts
of situations that you will encounter during or after your
driving test. With preparation this thorough it’s no wonder 1-2-1 clients pass first time.
Your Nerves
1-2-1 recommends six simple steps towards minimising your nerves during the test. Some are integrated from your first driving lesson
so by the time of your driving test it will seem perfectly normal. Others are implemented near to test day and on test day.
Quality Tuition
Thorough planning is important but the quality of tuition you receive is even more so ( or you could all learn from a book)

driving book. Recent clients have said they found this more useful than the DSA recommended books because it is more about actual driving than
theory.
Dedicated Lessons
Many driving schools practice ‘piggy backing’. This is where you share your car at the beginning and the end of your driving
lessons. You would not accept this on a £5 taxi ride so why should you on your private lesson. By dedicating the time to you and your needs your
progress will be faster and you will need fewer lessons. We are called 1-2-1 because it is how we teach.
